Terms of use for Therapists.ie

To receive referrals and maintain a live profile on Therapists.ie, you must agree to the following terms

1. Profile Requirements

  • Each profile is for one individual therapist only.
    Group or clinic profiles are not permitted.

  • You must maintain a live profile to receive and respond to referrals.

  • Your profile must include specific available times (single or multiple) for clients to book.

2. Communication Rules

  • Do not share personal contact details or external links on the website before a booking is confirmed.

  • Any profile that shares external contact information or bypasses the official booking system will be removed and banned.

  • All pre-booking communication must take place via the internal messaging system.

  • After answering a client’s questions, you should encourage them to book your profile.

  • Once a booking is confirmed and payment completed, contact information will be shared between both parties via email and/or WhatsApp, and you may then communicate freely using any preferred method.

3. How Clients Connect with Therapists

Clients can contact therapists in two ways:

  • Directly:
    By sending a message or making a booking directly through your public listing.

  • Indirectly:
    By completing a client questionnaire. Therapists with matching preferences will receive an email notification or can search manually for new referrals.

4. Fees (Effective from 14th Feb 2026)

When a client makes a booking, the first session fee is shared between Therapists.ie and the therapist as follows:

Fee Split- 65% : 35%

Platform 65% : Therapist 35%

If the therapist achieves 3 confirmed bookings in a month, rate drops to 55% Platform : 45% therapists for the following month

If the therapist achieves 5 confirmed bookings in a month, rate drops to 50% Plaform : 50% therapists for the following month

5. Payments

  • All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

  • Therapists must have a Stripe Connect account to receive their percentage of the booking fee.

  • If you do not have an active Stripe account at the time of booking, it will not be possible to issue your payment.

  • You can create a Stripe Connect account using the link provided in your dashboard.

6. Documentation

We require you to provide a copy of your most recent insurance policy and professional qualifications for verification purposes. Email to support@therapists.ie
