As a psychotherapist, I offer both in-person and online therapy services in Dublin and Cavan, with a focus on creating a supportive, trauma-informed environment where all clients feel safe and valued. My approach is rooted in the understanding that trauma impacts the mind, body, and spirit—and healing begins with compassionate, non-judgmental support.
I work from a trauma-informed lens, meaning I prioritize your emotional safety and sense of control throughout our work together. I aim to create a space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, knowing that your feelings and needs are respected. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, or the pain of family estrangement, therapy with me is an opportunity to process these experiences with care and understanding.
In addition, I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care, recognizing the unique challenges faced by those in the LGBTQIA+ community. I am committed to offering a space where your identity is celebrated and where you can be your authentic self, free from judgment.
My approach is integrative, drawing on various therapeutic techniques to best support you. The foundation of my work is always a deep, relational connection that fosters trust and helps you reconnect with your inner strength. I hold a BSc in Psychotherapy & Counselling from IICP College, along with specialized training in areas such as trauma, addiction recovery, eating disorders, ACEs, and suicide prevention.
Accessibility is a core value of my practice. I offer sliding scale fees because I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at rebeccatherapy421@gmail.com.
