About

Marie has been qualified as a psychotherapist since 2015. She worked for 9 years in Pieta, working with individuals aged 12 and over who are engaging in self-harm, are experiencing suicidal ideation and those bereaved by suicide. Additionally, she has 25 years experience of working with vulnerable children in foster care, and their families. More recently Marie has worked providing emotional support to adults who were adopted as babies and birth parents who for whatever reason relinquished babies for adoption. Marie understands that reaching out for support can be very difficult. She believes that treating people with kindness, patience and respect can help put them at their ease. Marie provides a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can focus on the areas of their lives where they need support. Marie uses an integrative approach, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients.
