Working from an integrative model means that Gráinne has a large toolbox filled with different approaches for each client. The most important part of the toolbox is listening to the client, and understanding the factors that result in thinking, feeling or behaving a particular way, exploring different solutions to problems, and bringing awareness to the here and now. Gráinne brings both personal experience and professional knowledge to provide her clients with a unique therapy, while kindly allowing clients to gently accept themselves.
Gráinne’s background in nursing and social care for twenty-six years has supported her enthusiasm for lifelong learning and sharing this knowledge have resulted in publications in Ireland and America, including the mental health of Healthcare Staff. Gráinne’s personal experience and research on the impact of Menstruation and Perimenopause increased awareness about the effects of both of these issues on our mental health. Gráinne facilitates workshops and webinars on Perimenopause and advocates for Women’s Issues.
Gráinne works with her clients gently, focusing on emotional difficulties in an uncertain life. Her compassionate approach offers her clients a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space to focus on their thoughts and feelings, giving them the time to recover and regain confidence and self-knowledge.
