Qualifications & Experience

Qualification I hold an MSc in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP) in Dublin where my training emphasised collaborative, client‑centred work and integration of approaches to meet each individual’s needs.
Experience
3+ years in Psychotherapy
I am an integrative psychotherapist with an MSc in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. I believe in a collaborative, client-led approach to therapy, moving away from "one-size-fits-all" models to focus on what specifically works for the individual.

My practice is grounded in Person-Centred Therapy, but I integrate tools from various evidence-based modalities to address your specific needs:

- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): To address patterns of thinking and behaviour.
- Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT): For emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
- Solution-Focused Therapy: To build on your strengths and achieve personal goals.

Areas of focus include:

- Anxiety & Stress: Managing burnout and life pressures.
- Relationship Difficulties: Navigating interpersonal challenges as an individual.
- Grief & Trauma Recovery: Moving through difficult life events.
- Menopause Support: I specialise in MenoCare-approved Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques for managing perimenopause and menopause symptoms (such as sleep issues and hot flushes), following NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) clinical standards.
- Neuro-Affirmative Therapy: Providing a validating, supportive space for Autistic and ADHD adults.

By tailoring each session to your personal preferences, I ensure that therapy feels effective, inclusive and aligned with your unique individual goals.
Approach Therapy with me is a collaborative one-to-one journey where we move at your pace to address the challenges you're facing, be they depression, anxiety, or individual relationship issues. Sessions blend practical skill-building to manage immediate symptoms with deeper exploration of your values and choices, ensuring you leave each session with both a greater understanding of yourself and the agency to navigate your life as an individual.
