About Me

I'm a psychotherapist who prioritises providing a safe space without judgement for my clients. As no two clients are the same, I provide an integrative approach that adapts to each client's needs. I believe that each client is an expert in their own life and together, using client-led methods, we can explore any issues or concerns that you would like to discuss in therapy.

I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, school/work stress, relationships, and anger issues.

As well as working with adults, I also work with adolescents ages 12 and upwards.

Experience

Psychotherapeutic Counsellor for 4 years

I have provided individual psychotherapy to clients for the past 4 years. In this time, I have worked with Turn2me, Good2Talk and Think Well Clinic.

I have experience working with a diverse range of clients and a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, school/work stress, relationships, anger issues, women's health and parenting issues.

Approach

I work with an integrative approach to psychotherapy in which I bring elements of a person-centred approach, choice theory and existentialism. I use this approach with an empathic and non-judgmental style to help client explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours and how to adapt or change these thoughts, feelings and behaviours to better work for them.

I believe in meeting the client where they are and to explore what they would like to achieve in psychotherapy in an empathic and non-judgemental way.

Qualification

I have a BSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP and currently in my final year of a MSc in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy from PCI College.

I also attend regular workshops, seminars and lectures on a diverse range of issues relevant to my work as a psychotherapist.
