About

With over 5 years experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy I have completed a Masters in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy following completion of the Professional Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy with the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP).
I am a pre-accredited member of IACP and a registered counsellor with the Rape Crisis Network Ireland (RCNI).
I am a graduate of UCC, with over twenty years experience as a Guidance Counsellor and Psychology Teacher in full-time Further Education with Cork ETB and the former Vice President of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors (2024-26). I have experience managing the Disability Support Service within campus. My current role involves supporting progression to FET. I am also an associate lecturer on the Bsc Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy with the PCI College and a lecturer on the DCU Graduate Diploma in Guidance Counselling.
As a pluralistic therapist, my approach centers on the belief that no single therapeutic model fits everyone. I collaborate closely with you to identify exactly what you need, drawing on multiple approaches and continuously check in on what is most helpful.
