About

I work with people who are ready to understand and change, working from the root of the issue, rather than just talking about it.

My approach goes deeper than traditional talk therapy. Rather than exploring where a pattern came from and building insight over time, I work directly with the pattern itself, the automatic responses, beliefs and internal representations that sit below conscious thought and drive behaviour without awareness.

This is focused, purposeful work. Most clients notice real change within one to three sessions. Some issues, a specific phobia, performance anxiety, an emotional block, can often shift in a single session.

I bring to this work over ten years of experience across therapeutic and somatic disciplines, and a personal understanding of the terrain that informs everything I do.

I am based in Crossmaglen, Northern Ireland and work online with clients across Ireland, the UK, and worldwide.

Experience
10++ years in Integrative Therapist
I have over 10 years’ experience working in therapeutic practice, with an integrative foundation and more recent specialised work in NLP and transpersonal therapy.

I have worked with clients experiencing relationship difficulties and recurring relational patterns, phobias, performance anxiety, self-sabotage, procrastination, negative self-talk, impostor syndrome, emotional blocks, confidence issues, and questions around identity and life direction.

My work is also informed by extensive experience in somatic and body-based approaches, including Chinese traditional medicine and nervous system regulation, which has deepened my understanding of the relationship between the body, the nervous system, and emotional experience. This informs how I work with stress responses, emotional holding patterns, and the ways unresolved experiences can be carried physically as well as psychologically.
Approach My work is integrative, responsive, and tailored to what is actually happening for the person in front of me, rather than confined to a single model or fixed way of working.

I offer two distinct approaches, depending on what you need.

Therapy sessions (£50 / €60 for 50 minutes) offer space for deeper exploration, reflection, and meaningful change. This work may focus on anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, self-worth, recurring patterns, or experiences that continue to feel unresolved.

Unlike traditional talk therapies, I integrate practical and purposeful NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) into my therapeutic approach, leading to often swifter outcomes. This work allows space not only to understand what is happening, but to process it, work through it from the root, and create lasting change going forward.

Sessions are purposeful, grounded, and directed toward meaningful movement rather than endless talking.

FAQs

What kind of therapy do you offer?

I am an integrative therapy, offering general, ongoing support for anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship burnout and life transitions. This is traditional therapy in the sense that there is no fixed number of sessions and we work at whatever pace suits you. As an NLP Practitioner (Neuro-linguistic Programming), I integrate NLP practice into my therapy, working with people who know something needs to change but cannot yet see clearly what it is or how to shift it. My work goes deeper than talking about what is happening. Rather than focusing primarily on insight and understanding, I work directly with the patterns themselves, the automatic responses, beliefs and ways of relating that sit below conscious thought and quietly shape how life is experienced. This is practical, purposeful work. Every session has a direction. We are always moving toward something specific, not circling the same ground indefinitely. I adapt the approach to the person in front of me, drawing on whichever methods are most relevant to what is actually present. This means the work feels personal rather than formulaic, and change tends to arrive in a way that feels natural rather than forced. I offer remote online sessions via Zoom, Google Meet or Whatsapp video. If you prefer another platform, please let me know. In person sessions are available in my therapy space in Crossmaglen, Armagh (4 minutes from north Monaghan and County Louth borders and a short drive from Castleblaney, Dundalk and Newry).

What is integrative therapy and what can it help with?

Integrative therapy is a flexible, client-led approach that draws on several therapeutic traditions depending on what you bring to sessions. It is suitable for a wide range of difficulties including: • Relationship patterns : especially over functioning, emotional responsibility and losing yourself inside a relationship dynamic, • Phobias, habits and performance anxiety : focused, targeted work that produces results quickly, • Self-sabotage, procrastination and avoidance : understanding what is driving the pattern beneath the surface, • Limiting beliefs and recurring patterns : the deep, often unconscious convictions that shape every decision without awareness, • Identity and self-connection : returning to a clearer sense of who you are beneath the roles and patterns you have been living inside, • Relationship patterns : especially over functioning, emotional responsibility and losing yourself inside a relationship dynamic, • Phobias, habits and performance anxiety : focused, targeted work that produces results quickly, • Self-sabotage, procrastination and avoidance : understanding what is driving the pattern beneath the surface, • Limiting beliefs and recurring patterns : the deep, often unconscious convictions that shape every decision without awareness, • Identity and self-connection : returning to a clearer sense of who you are beneath the roles and patterns you have been living inside. Sessions are 50 minutes, available in person in Crossmaglen and online across Ireland and the UK. £50 per session for Northern Ireland clients, €60 for Republic of Ireland clients. No fixed number of sessions, we work at your pace.

What is NLP and how is it different from standard therapy?

NLP therapy retrains your brain by changing the thoughts and words that trigger your stress. It acts like a software update for your mind to stop unhelpful emotional habits. It helps you identify the specific thoughts, words, and mental pictures that trigger your stress, anxiety, or bad moods. By changing those internal habits, you can physically retrain your brain to react with calm and confidence instead. How NLP Therapy Works in Practice: • Rewriting the Script: I help you change negative self-talk into constructive, empowering thoughts. • Changing the Picture: You learn to shrink or fade stressful mental memories so they lose their emotional power over you. • Creating Triggers: You practice linking a physical gesture, like squeezing your thumb, to a feeling of total calm, creating an anchor to your preferred feeling to use whenever you need it. • Goal Focus: The therapy spends less time digging into your past and more time building actions for your future.

How many sessions will I need?

For integrative therapy there is no fixed number of sessions. Some people come for a handful of sessions around a specific difficulty. Others work more regularly over a longer period. You are always in charge of the pace. For a specific issue such as a specific phobia, anxiety before an upcoming event, or a memory of a specific incident causing distress, most client feel a noticeable change after 1 session and most issues resolve within 3 sessions. I will always be honest with you at the outset about what is realistic for your situation. Free 30-minute consultation available before your first session with no obligation and no commitment, just a conversation where you can ask questions and see if I am the right therapist for you.

What are your fees?

Integrative therapy - £50 per session for Northern Ireland clients, €60 for Republic of Ireland clients. Pay as you go, no packages required.

Do you work with men as well as women?

Yes, absolutely. While some of my programmes are written primarily from a woman’s perspective, the patterns I work with affect men just as much as women. Everyone is welcome regardless of gender.

What if I’m not sure what I need?

That’s completely fine, most people aren’t sure when they first reach out. The free 30-minute consultation is exactly the right place to start. This is a place to find out what's going on for you, for you to ask questions and to see if we can work together. There’s no pressure and no commitment, just a relaxed conversation.
