Hello my name is Jenny Kenrick, a dedicated and compassionate pre-accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with an Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
With over 150 clinical hours completed, I have worked with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confidence struggles, relationship difficulties, financial stress, trauma, addiction, and eating disorders. My approach is client-centred and integrative, meaning I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and pace.
Whether you are facing a specific issue or simply feeling stuck, I am here to support your journey toward greater self-awareness, healing, and growth.
Throughout my clinical training and practice, I have had the privilege of working with both male and female clients from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. I have supported individuals across different age groups, each facing their own unique set of challenges.
My experience includes working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, confidence issues, relationship difficulties, financial stress, trauma, addiction, and eating disorders. I have worked with people navigating complex emotional experiences such as grief, loss, and identity issues, as well as those going through life transitions such as separation, career change, or adjusting to parenthood.
Whether clients come from professional, academic, or caregiving backgrounds, I strive to meet each person where they are, offering empathy, respect, and a tailored approach that honours their individuality. My focus is always on building a strong therapeutic relationship, where clients feel safe to explore their inner world and empowered to move towards healing and personal growth.
I believe that every individual is unique, and so is their journey through life. My approach to therapy is client centred, meaning that I place you—the client—at the core of the therapeutic process. I work collaboratively with each person, creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, personal pace, and specific goals. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to offer the support that is most appropriate for you. Whether you are seeking emotional healing, coping strategies, or personal growth, I aim to provide a compassionate and non-judgemental environment where meaningful and lasting change can take place.
I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College, awarded in partnership with Middlesex University. This comprehensive and rigorous programme provided me with a strong theoretical foundation in a range of therapeutic approaches, as well as extensive practical training. Through this degree, I developed key skills in reflective practice, ethical awareness, and therapeutic relationship building. It also included in-depth study of areas such as human development, mental health, trauma, and integrative psychotherapy, which continues to inform my work with clients today.
