Lucy places significant importance on the client-therapist relationship, viewing it as a key factor in healing, growth, and self-discovery. She believes that this relationship serves as a crucial catalyst for positive change. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from a range of styles to meet each client's unique needs. Lucy focuses on understanding both past and present experiences, using this insight to explore how individuals function and the underlying reasons for their behaviours. Guided by humanistic principles, Lucy creates a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their inner selves, increase self-awareness, and tap into their own wisdom. By encouraging clients to make choices that align with their true selves, Lucy empowers them to unlock their full potential and achieve personal growth.
As a therapist, I believe that no single approach fits every individual—which is why the methods I use in therapy are intentionally diverse and ever-evolving. The most important part of my work is getting to know each client as their authentic self and creating a safe, welcoming space where they feel truly seen and heard. Once a strong therapeutic relationship is established, I thoughtfully assess which therapeutic approach will best support the client’s needs, goals, and unique personality. Some of the approaches I currently incorporate into my work include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, and Dance Movement Therapy. I remain open to exploring many different modalities, as I believe that healing can take many forms—and therapy should honour each client’s unique way of expressing and processing their experience.
