About

I’m Sinéad, a therapist working with adults.
I work with people who may be navigating emotional distress or challenges that are impacting their sense of well-being.
Clients may come to therapy for support with, for example:
•Anxiety or stress
•Low mood
•Relationship or interpersonal difficulties
•Life transitions or periods of change
•The impact of past or recent experiences that feel overwhelming
My approach is integrative, client-centred, and trauma-informed, offering a safe, non-judgemental space to explore what feels important for you. I hold an honours degree in Social Care, which informs my understanding of complex life experiences and supports my work with adults.

Experience
3+ years in Psychotherapy
I am a pre-accredited psychotherapist with an MSc in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy, alongside an honours degree in Social Care. I have several years’ experience working in community and disability services, supporting individuals with complex emotional and psychological needs.

In my work, I have supported people experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, trauma, and the impact of difficult life experiences. My background in social care has given me a strong understanding of how past experiences, relationships, and environments can affect emotional wellbeing.

I work in a trauma-informed and pluralistic way, adapting therapy to suit each person. I draw on a range of approaches, including person-centred, CBT-informed, and compassion-focused techniques, to support clients in understanding their experiences, building emotional awareness, and finding ways to move forward.

I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore what is going on for them at their own pace.
Approach My approach is pluralistic and trauma-informed, which means I tailor therapy to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I believe that each person is unique, and therapy should reflect your needs, goals, and pace.

I draw on a range of approaches, including person-centred, CBT-informed, and compassion-focused techniques, to support you in understanding your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

I place a strong emphasis on creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we can explore what is going on for you, build emotional awareness, and find ways forward that feel right for you.
