Approach My approach to therapy is integrative, which means I don’t follow a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I draw from different approaches depending on what will be most helpful for you.

I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable to speak openly, without judgement or pressure. We go at your pace, and there is no expectation to have everything figured out.

Alongside understanding what you’re going through, I also focus on helping you begin to move forward in a practical way. This might involve identifying patterns that are keeping you stuck, understanding how your thoughts and emotions interact, and developing new ways of responding that feel more manageable in your day-to-day life.

I draw from approaches such as Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. This allows the work to be flexible and tailored to you as an individual.

My work is also informed by lived experience of recovery, which gives me a deeper understanding of how difficult it can be to change long-standing patterns, even when you genuinely want to.

Therapy is not about being judged or “fixed”. It’s about having a space to make sense of what’s going on and begin making meaningful changes at a pace that feels realistic for you
