About

As a psychodynamic therapist, I provide a safe, welcoming space for you to explore the roots of your emotional challenges and work toward lasting growth. Together, we will look at your thoughts, feelings, early experiences, and relationship patterns to better understand what shapes your choices and actions. A typical session might involve open discussions in which you freely express your thoughts and emotions, while I guide you through reflection and the exploration of memories. This approach can uncover underlying patterns and provide insight into your current emotional challenges, helping you create a comfortable, prepared environment for your journey.
I listen with empathy to help you become more self-aware, manage your emotions, and move past unhelpful patterns. You will learn about relationships, the role of self-esteem, and how you handle challenges. Through therapy, many clients often experience positive changes, such as improved relationships, reduced anxiety, and enhanced self-confidence. This process can help you find the confidence and clarity to make changes that match your values, empowering you to lead a more fulfilling life.
If you want to understand yourself better and make lasting changes, I invite you to schedule a session. You can book a session by calling our office, sending an email, or filling out the online form available on this website or on my website. I look forward to supporting you.

Experience
4+ years in Psychotherapy
I am currently pursuing a professional doctorate in the field. I hold a master's degree in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy from the University of Essex and a diploma in psychodynamic therapy from the Manor House Centre for psychotherapy and counselling.

My research project explores transferential dynamics in therapy between a Black female adolescent and her Black female therapist in a school, focusing on how shared racial identity shapes therapeutic processes. The goal is to understand how this shared identity affects outcomes and informs culturally sensitive psychodynamic practice.

In my clinical practice, I have completed over 500 hours of supervised clinical work with individuals and couples. This experience encompasses a diverse range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and identity and adjustment challenges. I have engaged with various populations across multiple settings, including schools, low-cost psychotherapy centres, and private practices.

I continue to engage in regular professional development and training in theory, case formulation, and therapeutic techniques.
Approach As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I offer a reflective and culturally attuned space where you can explore the emotional and relational patterns that shape your life. I pay close attention to unconscious processes, early relational experiences, and the dynamics that emerge between us in therapy, using these as pathways to deeper understanding. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in the belief that insight and emotional growth come from feeling understood in a consistent, boundaried relationship. Together, we work to make sense of your internal world so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self‑connection.
