My path into this work began over a decade ago, and it's taken me through some of the most human, honest spaces in mental health care. I've supported people in the depths of suicidal ideation and self-harm — work that taught me how to sit with pain without flinching from it, and how much it matters to simply stay present with someone. I've worked with an incredibly diverse range of clients facing all kinds of challenges, from personality disorders to the everyday struggles that bring people to therapy, each bringing their own story, culture, and way of coping. And I've worked alongside people living with disability, sight loss, and visual impairment, which showed me how resilience and identity can take so many different forms.
Across all of it, one thing has stayed constant: the belief that real change happens in relationship. I bring a trauma-informed lens to my work, drawing on psychodynamic and person-centred approaches — but more than any single method, I focus on the person in front of me and what they actually need. I specialise in trauma, anxiety, burnout, depression, self-esteem, and personality disorders, and I offer sessions in both English and Polish, in person and online.
Ten-plus years in, I still believe therapy is one of the most privileged spaces there is — a place where someone can be fully themselves, without judgement, and be truly heard.
Approach I believe therapy works best when it isn't confined to a single method. My approach is trauma-informed at its core, and draws on psychodynamic and person-centred ways of working — but I hold these frameworks lightly, because the client in front of me always matters more than the model. Every person arrives with their own history, pace, and way of making sense of things, and I shape the work around that rather than fitting them into a fixed structure.
For me, the relationship between us is central to the healing process. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely safe — where confidentiality is a given, where you're met with acceptance rather than judgement, and where you can speak honestly without having to filter or protect me from what you're feeling. Empathy isn't just something I offer; it's the ground the whole process stands on.
I also believe in staying present with difficulty rather than rushing past it. Whether we're working through trauma, anxiety, burnout, or something harder to name, I won't ask you to minimise what you're carrying. My role is to walk alongside you, at your pace, as you find your own way toward a better way of living.
