I am a qualified and accredited IACP Counsellor/Psychotherapist offering a safe compassionate space to explore life's challenges. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed and tailored to your unique needs. I am based on Cecil Street, Limerick on Saturdays for face to face appointments and also have online availability during the week. My fee with private health insurance is 80e per one hour session and there is a reduced rate available for people without private health insurance.
I have experience working in a range of therapeutic settings, including the University of Limerick Student Counselling Department, private practise and as a counsellor/therapist with the HSE. This has allowed me to support a diverse range of clients from students navigating life transitions to adults facing emotional and mental complex mental health challenges. My work is grounded in empathy, confidentiality and a commitment to strong ethical practice.
My approach is trauma-informed and psychodynamic, compassionate and grounded in safety and trust. I integrate talk therapy with somatic (body-based) awareness to gently support healing at your own pace. Together, we explore how past experiences may be held in mind and body, helping you reconnect, feel more present and regain a sense of calm and control in your life.
I am a fully qualified and IACP-accredited therapist, committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional practice in my work with clients.
