About

I’m a counsellor based in Limerick, offering integrative counselling to adults and young people (15+). I work with issues such as anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties and parenting challenges.
My approach is empathic, practical and solution-focused. Therapy with me is a space to slow things down, understand what’s going on, and find ways forward that fit your life.
I believe people already have the ability to work through their difficulties. My role is to support you in removing the barriers that may be standing in the way.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification I hold a BA in Psychology from the University of Pécs in Hungary and an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences in Ireland. I am a pre-accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP) and adhere to their ethical guidelines and standards of practice. My academic background and professional training have provided me with a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour, emotional wellbeing and evidence-based therapeutic approaches that support meaningful and lasting personal growth.
Experience
6+ years in Integrative Therapist
I am an integrative counsellor with over two years of professional counselling experience and more than six years of experience working directly with people in social care, child protection and youth work. I work with adults and young people aged 15 and over. My approach is empathic, collaborative and solution-focused, supporting clients to develop self-awareness, build resilience and find practical ways to move forward in their lives.

Alongside my private counselling practice, I bring experience from social care and child protection services. I have supported families facing difficulties such as conflict, abuse, neglect and financial hardship, and have worked with parents to establish healthier routines and communication patterns.

I have also worked with young people in residential care, supporting them as they entered care, built trust and developed interpersonal and life skills. Currently, I work as a youth employability worker, helping young people aged 15–24 to build confidence, strengthen their social and vocational skills, and move towards education or employment.

In addition, I have experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities through one-to-one work focused on independence, social interaction and daily living skills.

These experiences shape how I work as a counsellor. I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, recognise their strengths and make meaningful changes at their own pace.
Approach My approach to counselling is integrative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic models to suit each person’s needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Every client’s story, pace and goals are different.

At the heart of my work is the belief that people have the capacity to heal and grow. My role is to help remove the barriers that may be getting in the way of your own inner strengths.

I work collaboratively, offering a safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions with honesty and self-compassion. Depending on what feels right for you, I may integrate elements of person-centred, cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, solution-focused and acceptance and commitment therapy.

My style is warm, empathic and practical. Alongside understanding what’s going on for you, we focus on developing tools and strategies that support real and lasting change.
