4+ years in Psychotherapy
I am an IACP pre-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist (soon to be fully accredited) with over four years of clinical experience working with adults in private practice and organisational settings. I have supported clients presenting with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, grief and loss, anger, loneliness, low self-esteem, neurodivergence and ADHD.
I work from an integrative, client-centred and humanistic framework, drawing on CBT, ACT, mindfulness, psychodynamic and coaching approaches depending on the needs of each client. My work is grounded in empathy, compassion and the therapeutic relationship, and I place strong emphasis on creating a safe, supportive and containing space where clients feel heard, understood and emotionally regulated.
Approach I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel safe, seen and truly heard. I work from a deeply empathic and compassionate place, with a genuine willingness to understand your world and reflect it back to you in a way that feels grounding and validating. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is central to healing, and I work with the core conditions of empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard to create a trusting and collaborative space. My approach is gentle yet insightful, helping you to make sense of your thoughts, emotions and patterns while also supporting your nervous system to settle and regulate. I see therapy as a containing space where you don’t have to carry everything alone — we work together at your pace, with care, respect and understanding.
