About
Hi, I'm Janet. I'm an accredited psychotherapist and Board Member of the Irish Association for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) (MSc Counselling & Psychotherapy, BSc Psychology), providing psychotherapy for adults in Dublin city centre and online across Ireland.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, burnout, chronic stress, people-pleasing, perfectionism, overthinking, and life transitions. Many of my clients appear to be coping well on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or a persistent sense of exhaustion and disconnection.
I have particular expertise in supporting women, LGBTQ+ clients, trans and non-binary people, and neurodivergent adults. My practice is neurodiversity-affirming, gender-affirming, and LGBTQ+-affirming, providing a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where you can feel genuinely understood.
Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I worked in HR and office management, giving me a strong understanding of workplace stress, burnout, career transitions, and the pressures of modern working life. Alongside my humanistic and integrative approach, I have additional training in suicide prevention and am currently undertaking specialist training in CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
