Qualifications & Experience

Qualification I hold an BSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI/Middlesex University and a MSc in Addiction Counselling and Psychotherapy. As part of my Masters in Addiction Counselling, I also hold a Professional Certificate in Family Dimension in Addiction.
Experience
5+ years in Psychotherapy
Many of my clients face similar but difficult struggles. I provide support for generalised anxiety, panic attacks, and depressive episodes, relationship difficulties and breakdown, coercive control, relationship breakdown and workplace bulling, all of which are often exacerbated by modern life, social media pressures, and economic uncertainties. I also assist those navigating bereavement, job loss, or relationship breakdowns. My services extend to addressing work-related stress, burnout, and feelings of loneliness and isolation. Coping mechanisms used to help deal with these problems lead to substance and behavioural addictions
Approach I assist individuals who grapple with trust issues, trauma, attachment-related challenges, grief and loss, and who may turn to substance or behavioural addictions as a copeing mechanism means to escape emotional pain. My approach, cultivated through lived experience, provides a safe, empathetic space for my client to find within themselves the capacity to change and growth and personal development
