Experience

Psychotherapy for 3 years

I have been working with Living Life in Arklow since 2022 where I work with clients both short and long term.
I also work with clients within the Rathdrum Cancer Support Group who have been impacted by cancer either through a personal diagnosis or a diagnosis within the family.
I also have my own private practice.

Approach

I meet clients where they are at within their life story. I work from a person centred philosophy. I draw on psychodynamic theory as I believe our early experiences have an impact on our present life. I also incorporate an existential approach as I believe in the power of here-and-now moments where clients can experience their own agency and sense of self. I aim to facilitate this understanding through connecting with meaningful experiences.

Qualification

I have a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I continue to upskill through relevant professional developmental training.
